McConnells of Ballynahatty

DownDrumbo (Down)

Reply to Peggy Johnstone, message of Dec. 2012. I hope this message gets posted!

I have a good deal of information about the McConnells of Ballynahatty, especially John McConnell (1845-1928), my great-grandfather (and his daughter, the Irish revolutionary, Mabel Washington McConnell). I also know Ballynahatty Road (which runs by the Giant's Ring) and have been to the farmhouse in Lisnastrain. But to convey all this info will take me a lot of time. Could you please email me directly if you would like me to give you some of the info, and allow me the necessary time?
