Looking for information on Thomas Kelly who may have emmigrated from Kilkeen (County Down) to America around 1798 - 1803. His wife's name was Elinor (or Eleanor). Three of his children were William, Edward, and Susan. Any information on this family would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ron Kelly
Hi Ron,
Thank you for your message. I hope someone with information contacts you and is able to help. With regards to the place name Kilkeen-I cannot find any record of a Kilkeen in Co. Down, where did you get this name? Here is a list of place-names in Co. Down:

It may be difficult to find information on Thomas given the very early date of his emigration-it can be very hard to find records here from before 1800. It may be an idea to contact the Ulster Historical Foundation for some advice or assistance, however a fee may apply. Here is their email: enquiry@uhf.org.uk
Best wishes,
