John McNeely and Mary Sloane

Like Tom McNeely from Ottawa, I am tracing John McNeely who was married to Mary Sloane in County Down, Ireland, sometime around 1825 or 1826. All of their children were baptized in Canada, the first around 1828 in Bytown (now Ottawa, Ontario, Canada). We think that he was born in 1799 and that she was born in 1802. All of their children were baptized Roman Catholic in Canada.

Hi hoping this finds you still searching for answers, I have done quite a bit of research on my family tree, John McNeely is my 3rd great grand father 1797-1879 born in Antrim Ireland. He did marry Mary Sloane and in 1863 married his 2nd wife Nancy Raney 1810-1885. He had 10 children.
