trying to find my roots with not much to go on:
William G. Carson son of James Wiley Carson and Henrietta Frost.
all i have is Carnalea (?)
bangor and county down. I know William moved to Canada and at somepoint had children and one was my great grandmother.
Would really love to find my roots.
Thank you ,
Michael Smith
Michael,
Carnalea is a townland near Bangor, so not too difficult to locate. Here?s the only Carson family in Carnalea in the 1901 census. Perhaps a connection:

You haven?t given any dates for the Carson/Frost marriage. Can you provide some?
Elwyn
I am sorry Elwyn, the only thing i have is the above info and the year 1911.
Michael,
I am sorry but I am really struggling to help you with such vague information. You really need to trace back from birth, death and marriage certificates for known events in Canada, to give me the names of the people who you believe were born in Ireland, together with some approximate dates of when that was.
I have had a quick look at the marriage records and cannot see any marriage for a Henrietta Frost in Ireland, between 1845 and 1921. But I really don?t know whether I am supposed to be searching in the 1870s or the 1920s, or what. The simple year ?1911? doesn?t tell me much does it?
If you can give me some more detailed information, I?ll be happy to try again.
Elwyn
Thank You, Elwyn. information is difficult to come by, i appreciate your assistance, thank you.
