Wondering if there are any Flynn's still living in the Castlefinn area? My Great Grandfather John Flynn was from here and I would love to meet relatives when I visit in May. He was I believe, born and died in Castlefinn. He had a spinster sister called Margaret. He married Eleanor (Ellen, Helen) Docherty from Mount Charles. Several of their children were born there before they moved to Glasgow. Thankyou

John died in Glasgow on 10th May 1919. His wife Eleanor died in Glasgow in 1902

Thankyou very much for this. I was over in Donegal in May visiting the area my family came from. I found the church where Eleanor and John married. In the register it did not name his or her parents, so I was stuck. Do you mind me asking how you found the info. Did it give any more info re Mary Jane? Many Thanks again
