Looking for local information for Jeremiah Murphy and Ellen Carroll (Murphy) who were married at Tracton Parish Abbey Feb 1829. Left Ireland for Canada and came to New York City circa 1885.
Possible family members are Timothy Carroll

No parents' names but witnesses Timothy Murphy & John Carroll; parish St Finbarrs.
The Tithe Applotments (on above site) have a Jeremiah Murphy in St Finbars Cork 1833 so you can see where they lived then (Dudoyne).
Griffiths Valuation has 4 Jeremiah Murphys in St Finbars in 1852 (same site).
I couldn't find them on ancestry!
I'm afraid there are too many births on rootsireland.ie/for both of them to know which is right.
