Jo,

There is a baptismal record for Bartholomew on Irishgenealogy (free website) Church Records. He was baptized August 22, 1851, in Shull East.

Welcome to Irish Genealogy - Irish Genealogy

I will check Ancestry to see if they have a record for when he went to Australia.

Jo,

This might be a stretch. Julia's age might be wrong but that happens. I have no record of her birth. Several of the trees suggest that the family was from Dunbeacon, Durrus, Cork.

Jo,

The Dunbeacon Cemetery has several Shanahan gravesites clustered in the same area. On the homepage there are the coordinates to find the cemetery plus a pdf that sketches the cemetery and designates graves by number. Ann's grave is #9. I assume Philip is buried there.

I am very appreciative of all the volunteers throughout Ireland that have documented cemeteries and made the information accessible online.
