Visiting Castletownroche and looking for Willis / Duggan ancestors

Cork

Hello, we are visiting County Cork around the Kanturk/Castletownroche area from the 30th September to the 3rd October.   Would anyone be able to help us locate any records of Johanis (john) Willis who married Elizabeth Duggan in Castletownroche on 15th August 1815.   We are looking to see where their families come from, were they local?  Did they live in Castletownroche, if so where abouts?  We believe Johanis (John) was a painter /decorator but what did that look like?  Were they involved in any local disruptions?     What buildings still stand that they may have looked at or been in?   We just want to get a feel of what their lives were like or the lives of their parents, grandparents.   We believe they ended up in Cork city but dont know where they are buried and we would like to pay our respects.  We would really like to get to know the area where they lived in their early lives.  Is anyone around to chat these things over with us.    Thanks and keeping our fingers crossed.   Jo and Manda.
