Trying to find Riordan ancestry
Cork
So excited to be part of this site!
Family story is that the Riordans were from Cork, planned to leave Ireland in the late 1840s or early 1850s to come to America. Husband/father died shortly before departure. Still, the Wife/Mother left on her own with her large family, arrived in America and settled in the Doylestown, PA area. Names of her children included John, William & Margaret (others?). John would have been born around 1840, I believe. Would love to find out who this "brave" woman was and, of course, trace her family and her husband's family in Ireland. Any suggestions? Thank you!
