There was a Quarry Cottages off Whitehall Road West, Crumlin, west county Dublin that might fit - now renamed as Avondale Terrace and in part of Crumlin townland alongside several old quarries, a large one to the south is now Avondale Terrace park.
The old map is c1930s, Thom's entry is from later (older listing do not include small roads), new map of approx the same area for reference.. map extracts from OSI/GeoHive
Added : The road was renamed in the early 1980s - listing from Thom's 1986

Thanks for the reply it was very helpful im trying to trace my father he's name is Anthony Bolger or Anthony Burke he's date of birth is 29th January 1940 im trying to get a copy of he's birth certificate as far as I know his parents lived at quarry cottages crumlin w12 hope someone can help me Thanks Tina
