I am trying to find out more about Richard Bourke and Catherine Dunn who were married in Kildorrery on 05 Feb 1816. He lived in Kilcloney and she in Cullenagh.

I cannot find another Richard Bourke who married a Catherine Dunn at that time period in all of Ireland, so I am assuming this is the right Richard and Catherine.

I think they are the parents of Thomas, Timothy, John, Bridget, and Patrick. All born in Ireland.

In America after some time, they spelled their surname Burke.

John went to America. 

Bridget is my 2nd great grandmother, born about 1825 and died in 1870 in Lisbon, Iowa, USA. She married Tobias Butler in Illinois.

Her brother Patrick was born 17 Mar 1833 and died June 20, 1911 in Van Horne, Iowa. 

It is said that Catherine went to America but not Richard. That he died in Ireland.

I am having a very hard time connecting them through documents but I am connected to their descendants in my DNA results. I also cannot find any baptism records for the children. Though Bridget was Catholic.
