Lynch Family in County Cork

My DNA shows a connection to Munster and I believe it is through my great great grandparents Thomas Lynch and Catharine Cahill. Both born in 1825. They had 5 children. The oldest child John was born in Ireland in 1847. The other children were born in the US. Michael, Thomas, Patrick, and Mary (my great grandmother) who married Richard Henebery in Sheboygan, WI. They had 3 children Catherine, Nicholas, and Elizabeth (my maternal grandmother). I connected with someone on Ancestry that is connected to the Lynch family in Ballymacoda(?) or Ballycotton. Any help greatly appreciated. I have travelled to Ireland 4 times in the past 3 years and plan another trip for October 2026. The last 3 times I have stayed in Cobh.

Did the family live in Wisconsin? Did John get married? What was his wife's name?

Found on Ancestry. A possibility. Wife- Johanna Leary (1841-1909). Born in Kerry. Came to USA 1849.

Is this your Lynch family? It shows john born in New Hampshire. Michael was also born there. Have you checked Thomas and Catherine's death records maybe they identify where they are from and parent names? Their children's might provide additional info, as well.
