(James) Hickey (Bridget) Kennedy Clonakilty

Cork

Have gotten back as far as New Foundland, to birth of Great Granfather, John James Hickey.
His parents James Hickey & Bridget Kennedy were said to have come from Clonakilty Co Cork... guessing they were born 1850 give or take 10 years, as my great grandfather was born in 1870...

Try searching the Irish Family History Foundation.  The searches are for free, but if you want to 'see' the data you will have to pay 5 euros for each document.  You can search using both surnames and in every County.  It includes Catholic church records.
