Interested in Considine Family history in Ennis

Hello ...

My Great-great grandmother Hanoria Considine left Ireland in 1847 and traveled to Canada, met my great-grandfather settled in Illinois, USA. After he died, she remarried and moved with her second husband with the children to Montana, USA.

In the book that I found that is written about the family I discovered that her father's name was Bernard. According to the book the Considine family in Ennis were candymakers and butchers?

I am not familiar with an Ennis, Cork. There is an Ennis in Clare. The last sentence of your message ends with 'candym'. Is it candymaker? Is there more to the sentence? 

Can you provide more information about Hanoria- when she was born; when, where and who did she marry; children- names, when, and where; when and where did she die. Have you checked her marriage and death records to see if her parents' names are listed?

There are 68 trees on Ancestry for Honoria Considine. Her 1857 marriage record to Hyram Berges shows that her father's name was Michael. The trees also show that she was from Clarecastle, Ennis; and her mother's name was Elen Wyse. The tree with the most records also has information on her three older brothers - John, George and Michael if you are interested.

Considine is a very common surname in Co. Clare.

I looked at the 1824 Pigot's Directory for Ennis under Confectioners but did not see Bernard Considine listed.

Thanks a million, to you all!! I am getting some records from Illinois soon and will update! I thought Ennis was in Co. Clare, but the book which has her mentioned, stated Cork. Thank you for clarifying that, I was totally confused. 

Many dates here in the states are all a jumble because my great-great aunt Lena changed dates on documents to make herself younger ... never met the woman, but her determination to be younger was stellar. I haven't tried Ancestry, but I have friends in the LDS church and they have tried to help me with their database and it's also a jumble.
