My Grandmother was Jane Quin, born in "Cork" in about 1865, father was Richard Quin. She married in England in 1889 ans the certificate says that she was 24. In a cnsus in early 1900 she is quoted as being born in Chelmcford.

Hello Brian have a look at www.nationalarchives.ie Griffith Valuation records has a Richard Quinn in Innishannon Co Cork mid 1850's
www.irishgenealogy.ie Diocese of Cork & Ross Parish of Innishannon has a Baptism record for a Richard Quinn in 1846. No marriage showing for Richard or baptism for Jane.
