Mike,

Subscription Site www.rootsireland.ie has a record of the marriage of Michael Flynn to Mary Collins on November 22nd 1855 in Ballyclogh.

There are seven baptisms 1857 to 1869 to children of this couple.

There is baptism for a Thomas Flynn on the 11 February 1872 and a Thomas Flynn on 16th September 1875. Address shown for them is K B

There are two Ballyclogh - One in Fermoy Poor Law Union and one in Mallow Poor Law Union.

Do you know if your relatives were from Fermoy or Mallow? and if you have the name of a particular townland.

Regards,

McCoy

Mike,

Having checked the Roots records, there is a baptism for a Michael Flynn on April 3rd 1866 and a Michael Flynn on December 28 1869.

I recommend that you contact Mallow Heritage Centre - Mallowheritagecentre@gmail.com.

It would appear that your family were from the Mallow area. I have checked for birth records for those that were born post 1864. No record found.

Civil records in Ireland are from January 1st 1864

Regards,

McCoy
