Corkery ancestry in Ireland

Cork

Hello,

I am looking for the connection to my G4 grandfather in Ireland. He immigrated to Canada in 1823 with the Peter Robinson Settlement. I have him listed with his family on the manifest with my G3 grandfather being born here in Canada.

Here is all the info I have;

1784 :	Birth - Carrigrohane, Co, Cork, Ireland
1802 :	Marriage - Ireland- Mary Sheehan
1849 :	Death - Ramsay, Ontario, Canada

I have everything (well working on it still) from over here in Canada other than his actual living place here in Ontario Can. I even have the farm Denis bought in Goulburn township.

Any help is much appreciated

Cheers

Mark Corkery

Not sure what connection you are seeking? A connection to a child? a place? Perhaps you would explain further? Thanks!

The paid site RootsIreland lists three baptisms in the Catholic parish of Macroom for children of Denis and Mary. One record gives the residence as ”B. Scurreen.” This is likely Ballycurreen, which is perhaps 7 miles from Carrigrohane.

Corcory Johanna 1812 Co. Cork

Corcory Denis 1815 Co. Cork

Name: John Corcory

Baptism: 28-Apr-1816

Address: B. Scurreen

Parish/District: MACROOM

Gender: Male

County Co. Cork

Denomination: Roman Catholic

Father: Denis Corcory

Mother: Mary Sheehan

Patrick 1810-1888

Bridgette (McDermott) 1812-1870

Michael (1820-1872)

I am trying to find My G3 grandfathers family. His parents, siblings etc.
