Hi Marsha
I'm afraid I tried www.rootsireland.ie/, www.irishgenealogy.ie/ and ancestry for the Mahony/Manins but no luck I'm afraid!
The Tithe Applotments (free online) have 4 Manins in the 1820's & 30's but none in Cork.
There are 179 Mahonys in Cork however!

Here's the only Manin in Griffiths Valuation - & he's in Cork in 1853:
Family Name 1 MANIN
Forename 1 PATRICK
Landlord
Family Name 2 MURPHY
Forename 2 THOMAS
Location
County CORK
Barony IMOKILLY (PART OF)
Union YOUGHAL
Parish YOUGHAL
Townland YOUGHAL LANDS
Place Name WINDMILL LANE (OFF SOUTH MAIN STREET)

There are almost 3000 Mahonys of course!
