Carey/Sullivan - visiting Kildorrery 2027

I'll be staying in Kildorrery and visiting the Carrigdownane/Rockmills area in early April 2027 and would very much like to see how much more I'm able to find out about the above families.

Ellen CAREY was born in October 1814 in Mitchelstown, Cork, Ireland, to Mary SHEEHAN and M S CAREY.  She married THOMAS SULLIVAN (c1812-1880) in 1830 in Carrigdownane.  They had c8 children with the youngest being ELLEN SULLIVAN  b1862 who was my g-grandmother.  ELLEN CAREY died c1862 after which THOMAS & ELLEN SULLIVAN migrated to London where the older children were living.  

If Meet & Greet was available that would be wonderful!    Any assistance on finding records over and above what I already have would be much appreciated.  I can email copies of those records if required.

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland for any baptismal records for children of Thomas Sullivan and Ellen Carey in Co. Cork. Four records came up all in Kildorrery RC parish. The first record was for an Ellen Sullivan in 1841.Followed by Bridget in 1844, Thomas in 1845 and then another Ellen baptized April 25 1854. Presumably, the 1841 Ellen died young.

All records showed Rockmills as the  family location. Rockmills is in St. Nathlash civil parish which borders Carrigdownane civil parish. Is this the correct family?

Thank you for your prompt reply.  Listed below are the birth details of children of Thomas Sullivan and Ellen Carey.  You'll see that the children you have found born in Rockmills fit in with the birth dates of the children I have listed so I'm guessing that the family moved between Carrigdownane/Kildorrery/Rockmills.   Apart from Margaret you will see that those born in Rockmills all have no death date whereas I have those of the rest of the children.  They all spent most of their lives in London, all living very close to each other & working as "garden people" in the Acton area.  .  I know this as I am in constant contact with the descendants of John Sullivan and have lived with them on and off over the years, still holidaying with them whenever my husband and I visit UK and when they come to Western Australia.  

Ellen Mary b1854 was my g-grandmother.  Her cousin Catherine Carey, niece to Ellen Carey, married & had 4 children then died aged 40.  Her husband then married Ellen Mary and they had 6 children, one of whom was my maternal grandmother Elizabeth.  (This is where it gets tricky).   William Sullivan married, his wife died young.  By his second marriage he had a son, Thomas Sullivan who married his cousin, Elizabeth.  Their daughter was my mother. Elizabeth & Thomas together with Elizabeth's mother Ellen Mary with the remainder of their immediate family emigrated to Western Australia in 1912.
