Hurley's in Castletownbere

CorkKillaconenagh (Cork)

I do know that my Gr Grandmother Johanna Hurley was born in Castletownbere on March 8, 1860 and immigrated to Fall River MA in the early 1880's.  She either joined or was joined by her brothers Patrick and Timothy and sisters Honora, Julia and Ellen (Nellie).  All of these siblings married and all ended up in Butte MT except for Honora.  I've traced them all back to Ireland and baptism records.  What I'm looking for is John Hurly a brother who stayed in Ireland and i believe he was born 1863 and died in 1946.  Also a sisters Mary (died 1917) and Catherine (b 1874) stayed in the area.  I'm looking for any information on the 3 of them.   The parents were Timothy Hurley (died 1900) and Ellen Murphy (died 1913).  Timothy was from Waterford originally I believe.

I found Timothy, Ellen and Mary on a boat in Castletownbere harbour. I've included the link to the 1901 census record which has many individuals listed but I also copied the three Hurleys below. I did not find John Hurley in the Castletownbere area.

Hello, I believe that Timothy and Ellen were my 3-times-great-grandparents. Their son, Timothy was the father of my my maternal grandfather (Timothy Stephen Hurely).  If I am not mistaken, my (and my mother's) cousins Patrick and Mary Hurley, who still live in Clountreem, Castletown Bere are descendants of Timothy and Ellen's other son, John (via John's son Pat).

If you are still on this board and want more information, perhaps we can exchange information. I am looking to find out where in Waterford Timothy came from, and where he and Ellen married (I believe it may have been in or around 1855)
