Maurice Hennessy

CorkKildorrery (Cork)

I am looking for the family of my ancestor, Maurice Hennessy, who was born in Co. Cork in either 1792 or 1798. He had a younger brother, Thomas, but I know nothing else about his family.

It is possible that the Hennessy's lived in Oldcastletown.

Maurice was transported to New South Wales in 1825, and died there in 1843.

I would appreciate any information that might shed light on Maurice and his family.

I am currently working on a project for The Term Papers and I could never imagine how interesting it is to build a family tree. Everyone I guess had this task in school time but if you are dealing with it in an adult age you'll definitely much more attentive to details and you start to truly care about your roots.
