Greetings parishioners in the diaspora!

My name is Elizabeth Mellen. I am researching my family history, which on both sides is very Irish.

My mother's paternal family name is McDonough, descended from Mahoneys, into which family McCarthys had married. (Probably the other way round as well).

I have just found a record of a baptism for my 2nd great grandmother, Margaret Mahoney, who was the child of Tim Mahoney and Jude McCarthy.

I would be very grateful for any information about these family members, the information in parish records and whether or not they are buried in the church. Margaret's daughter, my grandfather's mother, went to Birmingham and that is where the McDonough branch of the family were based. Sadly my mother Patricia was the last direct descendant and passed away last year.
