Patrick McCarthy and Ellen Brown, Possibly in Glanworth

CorkGlanworth (Cork)

Looking for Patrick McCarthy born sometime between1831 and 1837. Married Ellen Brown b 1839. Her father was James, and she had a brother Simon. Possibly lived in Glanworth. They had 10 children, including Mary McCarthy b 1861 and Margaret McCarthy b 1863. Then they went to US and settled in Waseca, Minnesota, where they had more children, including my great great grandfather. Appreciate any assistance.

Susan:

Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie has two Ellen Brown baptismal records which may be of interest. There is an 1839 record for an Ellen Brown, father James, in the Aghada RC records. There is also an 1841 Ellen Brown record, father James, in the Buttevant RC records. I don't know if either record relates to your Ellen. Roots is a pay site to see the transcription of the church record.
