McCarthy's from Bantry, Cork

CorkDromtarriff (Cork)

I am the grand-daughter of Jeremiah Joseph McCarthy and seek information on parents and siblings of Jeremiah Joseph McCarthy born 2 Aug 1878 in Bantry. Son of Daniel McCarthy and ?.

Siblings: Daniel, John, Patrick and Mary.

I understand that a Mary (could be Margaret) Maher of Scart Road and Mannix McCarthy who had a caravan park just out of the town of Bantry were related.

Has plenty of Jeremiahs. One baptised as Carthy son Dan. Problem is you don't know his age when baptised.

Lists many Jeremiahs born 1878 - more than one has father Daniel.
