Looking for Barrys

CorkCarrigtohill (Cork)

Hello, My name is Douglas Barry. I live in the United States. My family origins bring me here to Cork. The only names that I know of there are Ted Barry and William Barry. William is a Monsignor in the Catholic Church. I met him once in Buffalo, NY when I was about 10. If there is anyone who knows this family, I would like to make contact with you to find more of my heritage. You can email me . thedougbarry@yahoo.com .

Thank you, and Blessings ,,,

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Do you have any more details on Ted and Monsignor William Barry? Were they born in Ireland or their parents? Barry is a very common surname in Co. Cork. Is Carrigtohill the parish?

Roger,    Thank you for responding. I don’t know much. They were born in Ireland. I’m not sure if the parrish is correct.

Doug:

Not much I can do at this point. Do you belong to Ancestry.com ? Possibly you can find more info in the USA records.

DNA testing and corresponding with matches may be helpful.
