Hi Margaret Russell
As the unofficial keeper of Troland family records dating back to the 1700s, I have some information which will help you in your research. I have written 14 chapters on the family and have two or three which will be of great interest to you. If you email me on ken_trolland@bigpond.com, I can send you the relevant pdf files.
Regards
Cousin Trolland
What a fantastic resource!
Thanks for sharing!
All the best,
Hello all Trolan researchers!
We have a mystery on our hands and were wondering if anyone can help us. We are from Pittsburgh, Pa and are looking for our great grandmother who was a Trolan. Her name was Mathilda M. Trolan and she is from Magherafelt, County Derry from what we understand. When she imigrated to the United States, we are assuming that she came to Pennsylvania, around the Jefferson County area ( her children were born in Punxsutawney, Pa and family was shown in Gaskill, Jefferson County, Pa cencus) and was married to Patrick Summers/Somers. If anyone has any information please contact us as we are hoping to connect with family abroad :)
