Hi John,

There is only 1 Arthur McCarthy baptism record in Cork on www.rootsireland.ie/ and it is in 1864.

Could this be your Arthur or is it too far back?

If it is the right vintage you can purchase the record on rootsireland and it will give you the parish and his parents' names.
