CorkAghinagh (Cork)

Seeking any information about the Horgan family; Tim Horgan is my great great grandfather; his son was Cornelius, born 1840. Cornelius married Rose Coyne, born 1842 (from Roscommon, Athlone). Corneliusimmigrated to Boston in America in 1857; Rose immigrated in 1855. Dates may be approximations.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Naima

The closest match for Cornelius Horgan born 1840 in Cork with father Timothy on www.rootsireland.ie/ is

1856.

The parish is not Aghinagh however.

It costs to view the record but will have the parish and POSSIBLY the mother's name.
