Hi,

Thank you very much for your message. I apologise for the delay in getting back to you. Are you still in Ireland?

Church records will probably be the best source of information for you given the timeframe. Catholic records for Aghada parish start as early as 1792, you can see this on the Irish Times website:

http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/rcparishmaps/index.cfm?fuseaction=showidrecords&CityCounty=Cork%20East&parish=Aghada&churchid=3

Most Catholic records are still held locally so it may be an idea to contact the local parish priest for some assistance. If it is possible for you to call to the local church I would advise that you ring beforehand to set up an appointment. Here are the contact details for Aghada parish:

V.Rev. Denis Kelleher P.P.

Address: Church Road, Aghada

Phone: 021-4661298

Rev. Eamonn Kelleher C.C.

Address: Jamesbrook, Midleton, Co. Cork

Phone: 021-4652456

Alternatively, as  you can see from the above link there are copies of some of the records available from Mallow Heritage Centre, so you could try contacting them also, however a fee may apply.:
