Hello to all the Clare Diaspora on this message board:

For those of you who are planning on travelling to Ireland and specifically to County Clare, we are happy to meet with you if you wish.  Please feel free to contact Jane at tulla@irelandxo.com

We are a group of local volunteers with local information and sources who will be happy to meet with you and direct you in your ancestral research.

Hi

I will be in Ireland in September. We will stay the night in Kilmihill on 6 Sep and then plan to go to Kilkee on Sunday 7 Sep (if we don't get there on 6 Sep), then Ennis, then Tomgraney.

My ancestor Michael Macnamara came from Ballymalone. His wife was Mary Griffin. They emigrated in 1852 to NSW with their surviving children Margaret and Thomas.

At this stage, I expect we will be in Tomgraney about lunch time. We are booked to stay in Limerick on Sunday night. It's a bit hard for us to estimate time of arrival but if anyone is available to perhaps show me where Ballymalone is and perhaps any other points of interest, I can exchange my phone number and email to stay in touch.

Thank you
