In the 1926 Census Denis' nephew Thomas Moroney was living with him.

Thomas was the son of Catherine Moloney and Thomas Moroney born in 1902. I assume Denis was the brother of Catherine. Thomas' siblings were Michael 1899, Bridget 1901, Mary 1901, Catherine 1907, Winifred 1910.

In addition to Denis and Catherine, John Moloney and Bridget Ryan had a daughter Winifred 1864. She married John O'Brien in 1890 and they had 8 children. Winifred died in Clare in 1950.
