I’m researching my great grandmother, Catherine Kilmartin from Roadford, County Clare. I have her birth in 1832. Of course, that may be incorrect. She came to Canada in 1552 ( from ship records, by herself) and maybe because she was 20, didn’t have to given her parent’s names/information. I’d love to know more about her, her parents and siblings.

To assist volunteers, information from Ancestry. I871 Census identifies her from Ireland. William Sheridan Dawkins death certificate states she was from Scotland. I did not find a birth record on Ancestry. The first entry for a Catherine Kilmartin being born in Clare on RootsIreland (paid subscription) is 1855.
Catherine was Methodist in 1871.
