Traynor/Trainer family from Cavan

I'm trying to find out more information about the Cavan branch of my family tree. 

My 3x great grandmother Susan Traynor was born in Cavan at some point between 1836 and 1841 (UK census records are inconsistent. 

She then moved over to Parr, Lancashire, with her family at some point between 1844 and 1847.

I'm hoping to find her birth/baptism records but have had no joy with this yet. 

From census/marriage records, I've discovered that her parents are called Nicholas Donnelly Traynor (born abt. 1806) and Mary Clarke (born abt. 1810) but cannot find any details about where in Ireland they were born or married so any information people find on this would also be massively appreciated. For additional context, their first child was born in approx 1831.

I located a couple of baptisms in Knockbride Catholic Parish Co Cavan with the parents names you mentioned - Nicholas Traynor and Mary Clarke - Eugene baptised Jun 1839 and Bridget in January 1846, very likely siblings to your Susan

I dont see any other children to this couple, but might be worth browsing through the registers to see if there might be pages that were difficult to transcribe. See : Knockbride Co. Cavan RC registers (NLI)

The baptisms records for this parish cover from May 1835 so possibly Susan was born a little earlier than the UK records suggest so before the written records - quite common for people to be inaccurate with ages back then. At the time of these baptisms there were two chapels in the parish, one of which was thatched. The nearest large town would have been Bailieborough.

Hi,

Shane has provided where Susan's family was from. As you mentioned Susan's birth year fluctuates. Other than the censuses in England that identify her siblings I have not found other records in Ireland.
