Customised Ancestry Tour?

CarlowDunleckny (Carlow)

In May, the Wall Street Journal published an article regarding customised ancestry tours in Scotland and I wonder if such tours might be available for those of us with Irish ancestors.  Here's a link to the article: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB100014241278873242443045784734439975564…

I hope it accessable from this website too.  Are there such tours of Ireland?

Hi,

Thank you very much for your message.

As far as I am aware there are no Custom Ancestry Tours in Ireland at the moment. However I did find a tour operator that ?cater specifically for people who want to trace their family roots?  . It may be worth looking into:

Also you could try contacting Discover Ireland to see if they can offer you any more options or advice: http://www.discoverireland.ie/Contact-Us/Consumer-Enquiry?ref=footer

All the best,
