I seem to recall some maritime records for your ancestor while searching for mine.  It is interesting yours was a cabinet maker as my family also has that profession in their history; however, I have yet to trace which person and where to Ireland they came.

My great great grandmother was Martha Anne Mann 1844/45. She had a large family in Dundalk with her husband William Hudson Fenton.
They had a son Robert(Fenton) too and if I am remembering right, a nephew Robert as well. We must be connected?
