Valentine Burrell / Ralph Burrell

Armagh

Hello, I'm trying to find information on my 3xGGrandfather Valentine Burrell from County Armagh. (highlighted in yellow) I'm going to attach a small chart for what I believe is true. The names in grey I'm still unsure about..

I know information from Valentine down to me, but nothing about his parents, siblings, grandparents, etc.

There is a photo on "find a grave" which has helped, but everyone is attaching that photo of Valentine and Ralphs grave to (my) Valentine, this is incorrect. (as the dates are all wrong)

I believe that grave is (my) Valentines, Great Grandfather, and Great Grandfathers son Ralph is also buried there.

Link https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/140018513/valentine-burrell?

I'm can see Ralph's date on the stone, but not Valentines. Valentine is mentioned first, so he must have died first?

Any help on the dates would be wonderful.

Any any information on (my) Valentine's parents, grandparents etc would be amazing

Thank you so much,

Kind regards

According to his death certificate, Valentine lived in Muckery which is in the parish of Drumcree. I assume he was Church of Ireland as nearly all the Burrells in Armagh seem to have been.

Have you searched for his baptism, to get his parents names? Drumcree Church of Ireland records start in 1784. There’s a copy in PRONI in Belfast and some years are on the rootsireland site (subscription).

I just noticed that Elizabeth's sister Hanna married on the same day to Wilson Flavell. See second record.

Thank you for that, I will have a look at PRONI for his baptism.

I have a family tree on Ancestry called "Sargeant Family Tree", I do have a lot of information about Valentine Burrell and his Children, but not his parents, and grandparents etc, especially the female grandparents.

Kind regards
