Looking for Catherine McVarry (I have been told that this surname is from Armagh)
She immigrated to Philadelphia on the ship Tonawanga in December 1851. there were 4 children traveling with her (all surname McVarry), no indication of the relationship has been found.

Can you provide additional information about Catherine- approximately when she was born, did she marry (when, where, to whom) any children (names and ages), when and where did she die? Have you checked marriage and death records? Sometimes they include parent names. What were the names and ages of the children travelling with her?

I found the ship record on Ancestry. Catherine was born in 1827. The children I assume travelling with her- John 13, Patrick 11, Mary Ann 9, and Charles 6.
