Nine years have passed since the above message was put on but I am also looking at Mallon and McKeown/McCune.

My husbands DNA leads through Patricia LEMKE to Mary Jane Mallon nee Short /Brittan and her Husband and generations below them. They died in America. I think it is likely that a Mallon female was her mother, of McCune.

I am trying to find the mother of( illegitimate )Rose whose father was Parker SYNNOT (Grand Master Of the Loyal Orange Lodge).

There is a possibility that Rose was baptised at St Luke church Ballymore where she was born. The Synnot family had connections with this church and Parker is buried her I have no way of seeing these Parish records. They need to be seen in person between Jan 1856 and Dec 1858, looking for most likely, a mother only and possibly "private" as was her 1/2 brother Charles. his mother was Sarah KELLY.

Rose was sent to New Zealand in about 1862-1864. In Auckland NZ her guardian was William Bartley MONTGOMERY.
