Thomas May
I've now firmly (99.99% - never 100%) verified back to my 4th great grandparents, who got married in Derrynoose, Armagh in 1813. I found an index for them but could not find them in the NLI parish record data base for Derrynoose.
I think that might make them born possibly in the1780s/90s.
The Roman Catholic baptisms, if I've got the right info, from my searches of the NLI doesn't go back to the 1700s.
The two I'm talking about are Thomas May and Margaret O'Donald (she was also listed in the different baptisms for their children, in Armagh Parishas; O'Donnell and Donnelly). But, I'm pretty certain it's O'Donald, because a James O'Donald was a witness to the marriage (Feb 16, 1813) and a Charles O'Donald was a sponsor for their first child's baptism.
I'm figuring they might have been late teens, early 20's for the marriage and that would put the births around late 1780 or early 1790s.
ANY help is certainly and most profoundly appreciated!
Does anyone know whereI could dig to find someone back that far?
