James Beggs Junior

Antrim

Hi,

This the first time I have posted a message here. I live in Houston Texas and we have traced our family back to James Beggs Junior and I would like to know where is the best source in the county to research ancestors and family of the Beggs. Thanks, Frank Reed Larkey

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Our Co. Antrim expert is on Holidays until early January. Beggs was/is a common surname in Co. Antrim. Over 560 people with that surname in the 1901 census in Antrim. Can you tell us when James was born and the religion of the family and then we can possibly suggest some sources online.
