Dawson/McCarry from Antrim

Antrim

Dawson and McCarry families from Belfast/Antrim

I'd love to find out where within Belfast (church parish?/other location details)/Antrim there were from. I'm taking a trip to Ireland in late April 2026 mostly just for recreation - haven't set where we're going yet/if I'm going to do any research in person, if needed. Thanks!

I've looked at RootsIreland and am on Ancestry/Family Search and haven't found anything past saying they're from Belfast/Antrim.

If you have searched the usual sources for RC records and not found this marriage, then one possibility is they married in St Mary’s, Belfast. It was the first RC church in the city (when the Catholic population was just a few hundred people). It opened in 1784 but sadly has no records before 1867. See:

St Mary’s is in Chapel Lane, Belfast.
