My great great grandmother was Theresa Gribbin. She was born in Belfast around 1832. Her parents were John and Elizabeth Gribbin and she had at least two siblings: - Henry, born around 1826 and John, born around 1829. The family had moved to Liverpool by 1841. Would love to know more about this family.
Thanks.
Hi,
The Griffiths Valuation should be of some help to you.
http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index.xml?action=nameSearch
There is much data that can be gleaned that is free from the below site, (for instance under placenames search), a positional map is shown with a listing of Townlands or streets that might aid your search.
Another help is found at the explanations of what records are kept where found at:

Hope these help, Jeanette

Thanks Jeanette.
However, I've tried these sites and not had much luck.
I'm going to post another message with different details and see if anyone can help.
Thanks again,
Pat
