William McGRATH

I am looking for anyone who knows of a William McGrath who was born in Mohill circa 1835/39. His father ,Richard, was a Chemist and served in India in the British army.

William left Ireland as a young man and settled in Swindon, England. I found a birth Record for him which only showed his mother who was Ann, but no father was recorded. I can trace his life in England, have his marriage and death certificates and have census records also, but have no information of his life in Ireland.
