William Leonard/Catherine Fielding

Hi, I'm looking for any information regarding my third great grandparents.  Their names were William Leonard born In Dublin in 1798 and his wife, Catherine Fielding, also born in Dublin in 1785.  They emigrated to England at some point because their son was born in Chester, Cheshire in 1828.  William was a labourer.  I have information regarding their lives in Chester but I know nothing of their lives or families before they left Ireland.  I'd be interested in any information regarding them.

Thank you

Vicky

Hello,

In looking at UK censuses for William, and his death record, I noted his birth year listed as 1798, 1799, 1801, and 1803.  Just thought you might want to keep in mind that 1798 might not be a firm date.

Hi Patricia

Thanks for taking the time to look at this.  I usually try to give a plus/minus five years on birth year when I search for someone, however I will bear this in mind.  Sadly I know he ended his days in a workhouse which is where I found his death date, however he still lived to a good age!

Thanks again

Vicky
