William Fitzgerald and Ellen Burke Ireland to Hungerford, Ontario, Canada

I'm looking for siblings and parents of William Fitzgerald born abt 1816 in Ireland and wife Ellen Burke born abt 1811 in Ireland. They had daughter Kitty 1836 - she married Michael Flynn in Ontario an son John 1838 - he married Mary Ann Hickey in Ontario. The family came to Canada between 1838 and 1841. I found a baptism for the next son Patrick born 1841 in Marysville, Ontario. I found the entire family on the 1851 Canada census. Eventually William and Ellen and the family moved to Maynooth, Ontario - many are buried in the RC cemetery.

Of interest is John Fitzgerald and wife Mary and family living beside them in 1851, along with an older Mical Fitzgerald. I believe that these men are all related.

I have researched other Fitzgerald families living in the area. Please reach out if you have come across these families. I have trees on Ancestry and have a GEDmatch. Thanks

To assist other volunteers, records found on RootsIreland (paid subscription). Catherine (Kitty) was born in Murroe and Boher, Limerick. She had a brother John 1838. Her parents William Fitzgerald and Ellen Burke were married in Murroe and Boher, Limerick June 6, 1836.

I am assuming you are suggesting John and Mary are next door neighbors in Ontario??

There were a John Fitzgerald and Mary Hayes married May 1, 1834, in Murroe and Burroe, Limerick, children- Patrick 1836, Mary 1838, (maybe Margaret 1840, Catherine 1843, and Bridget 1846, mother shown as Margaret).
