Why would someone be recorded as an inmate residing in Tullaghobegly, Donegal?

I am looking at a death record in 1872. Place of death is Tullaghobegly, Crossroads, Dunfanaghy, Donegal. The informant was an inmate residing in Tullaghobegly. Does this refer to a workhouse or prison or some form of lodging? Thanks.

Yve:

Could you attach the death record or provide us with the name and so we can look at the record.
