What Foreign Birth Registration Documents are Acceptable

Are plain Irish civil birth copies ok? Or do they have to be a certified document to be acceptable?

The website says originals are ok. What is an original copy?

I have the Irish Civil birth registration of my grandmother from the Gort office from September 29, 1881.

I will include the documents that I have that I would like to send, but I am afraid they might not be accepted. can someone tell me if these documents are acceptable for me to be successfully registered on the Foeeign Births Registration?

I included all the documents here for someone who can answer my question. My biological birth certificate is certified as a true copy

Thank uou.

Syd, looking at old queries and not sure if this was answered as it is out of my realm, for legal purposes origional copies would be certified copies with a stamp and probably a signature as they would be legal copies for use in a legal proceeding and can be shown to be such, even if you got an original a photocopy would not be acceptable always assuming nowadays you could prove it was a photocopy but I am sure an expert would etc

Good Luck
