Waterford Power-Murphy

I'm looking for a Lawrence Power born in Waterford but the birth window is huge: 1800-1820. Anyway there is a John Power & Mary Murphy marrying 1793 Tramore Waterford having a Lawrence in 1800 and a Catherine in 1803. Haven't found other children. But - there is a Mary b 1796 in the Slieverue/St Kieran College parish. Just wondering if it's possible it's the same John Power/Mary Murphy parents or if it's too far away. When I google Slieverue and St Kieran college - they don't seem to be that close to each other either. I can't find a town on any of these baptisms tho, which would help a lot of course. Thanks!

RootsIreland.ie shows 29 Laurence Powers baptized in Waterford from 1800 to 1820.  Was there a reason you thought the 1800 Laurence was yours? For instance, did you have information that his parents were John and Mary? If not, maybe you could provide some other info about Laurence? marriage, children, death, occupation, etc.?

29? Hmmm. I looked thru rootsireland but I don't remember that many. I will have to buy some more time on there! I selected this one because parents were John & Mary and he had 2 children John and Mary. But - pretty weak I agree. I just don't remember many Lawrence b Waterford in that time period and I will have to check again. Thanks.

Ah - I see the issue. I searched him many years ago when I was first starting and just got back to him now. It is usually spelled Laurence in roots ireland records, and I probably searched only on Lawrence back then. Looks like some work to do. Thanks again
