Hello
I have a cousin who is visiting Ireland starting Wednesday 10/15 specifically for the purpose of family history.
He has good info showing his ancestors were born in county Kilkenny and emigrated to Massachusetts in 1892.
Ellen Barry born 1875 - parents Michael Barry and Bridget Walsh.
Is there any possibility of someone giving him some advice or guidance?
Thank you
Ed Short
Ed:
I found some information on the family as described below. Did the entire family including Michael and Bridget emigrate to America or just some of the children?
What guidance are you looking for? In 1873 the family was in Dungooly townland in the civil parish of Rathkieran in south/southwest Kilkenny.

Michael Barry and Bridget Walsh married in 1867 see third record at link https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/files/civil/marriage_returns/marriages_1867/11499/8228272.pdf Record shows ages of bride and groom and the names of their fathers. I found baptismal record for Michael in 1868 and Thomas in 1869 RC parish of Mooncoin in southwest Kilkenny. Below are the civil birth records for Ellen and Catherine.
