Tullow

I have found a burial site for a Daniel Doyle died 1821 at the Abbey cemtery Tullow, although this cemtery is no longer used. would there be records of who his next of kin was. I am also interested why a catholic would be cremated? There must be some records on this burial I hope some one can help
